Captain Above update

I have sent Captain to the track for the last time. Although he came back sound from his most recent race, the jockey said he felt fine he just didn't seem to want to win. That was what I needed to know even though it wasn't what I wanted to hear. Preston may not be ready to give up and we could see Captain in a race with a different owner or even Preston as the owner. If not we expect Captain to be jumping fences in the spring of 2010. I know he will have a good home and a bright future as he is very athletic and sound.

It has been a great experience sharing this colt with hottalkers. thanks for your support.

John, you and Stanley have been absolutely wonderful sharing Captain and Mac with us. :clap:

Everytime I sit down at my computer, I can look up and see the picture of Mac Mac breaking his maiden and a bunch of friends with money to get home on. :jump:

thanks all. with out hawg i could have never experienced all this. what a ride. when mac broke his maiden he was'nt suppose to beat the monster. two races later hawg wins the first stakes race he ever enters ($125,000.00). after that he's ready to take on lawyer ron at evangaline( we beat him to the first turn ). i met john mckey that night one of my favorit riders. then we started running captain. from 2 to 4 yr's old captain just kep giving us hope and more hope. them 2 races on the grass at louisiana downs last year i thought we had another eagle lake. thanks hawg. you no hawg may have quit shooting but look out he might just be reloading.

If you want a win all you have to do is switch jocks to the one in the photo that rode Lake Lake. With all of that yelling and wild look the other horses would be
crazy not to move to the side. :lol:
